Read to Feed Your Neighbors!
Throughout the month of April, K-8 readers have the opportunity to give back to their community and win prizes by fundraising for every minute they spend reading.
How it works:

Find sponsors (family, neighbors, etc.) who agree to pledge a donation for every minute or hour that your child spends reading in April (for example, 50 cents or a dollar per hour spent reading). Sponsors can also make a flat donation. They can find your fundraiser and donate on this page.

Using the online and printable reading logs, keep track of how many minutes your child spends reading. If you register and don't receive a confirmation email within a day, please email Lucie.

Submit your results online by April 30th.

At the end of the month, we'll tally the results and announce the winners! The top 3 participants who spend the most time reading will each receive a gift certificate to a Hancock County book store.

Story Time at Southwest Harbor Library
Join Ms. Chrissy in the Holmes Reading Room at the Southwest Harbor library for an interactive food-themed story time with books, puppets, movement, and song!
